The Wagging Tail has been a part of our family for more than 10 years. We went from just looking through the window longingly to being regular customers who benefitted from the fun and active day our dog experienced and the occasional shampoo and conditioning treatment.
Over the years we have watched "The Tail" evolve and develop important resources for dogs (Water4Dogs, Agility4Dogs, Worth Street Vet) that make them valuable "go to" when seeking advice or care of a pet.

The Wagging Tail offers piece of mind. My dog Angel has special needs and the staff treats her as if she were their own. If I'm working long hours or vacationing I know she is being treated like family. Thanks gang.

Having had Labrador Retrievers my entire life, and growing up in North Carolina with a lot of space for them to run freely, I was so excited when The Wagging Tail opened up its first location on Greenwich Street near our apartment in Tribeca. Between Keith, his mom and dad, and the welcoming staff, I always felt completely comfortable leaving my “baby” with them. I knew that she would have fun, be safe and well cared for while under the watchful eyes of the staff and the doggie cam! After Tanner passed away in March, we immediately consulted Keith to find someone who could assist us with training and exercising our new puppy, Moshi. Of course, his amazing new complex on Worth Street contained not only an on-site swimming pool for dogs and veterinary clinic (Dr. DiPaolo is an amazing vet!), but also the most amazing dog trainer I have ever met, Joel Moder. If you ever hesitate in your decision to have a dog in the city, don’t. Keith and The Wagging Tail give you everything you could imagine under one roof and make it really easy to enjoy a dog in the city.

The Wagging Tail has been an essential part of my life since I got Dudley, 5 years ago. They really know my dog and treat him like part of the family! I never have to worry about leaving him, as I know he is in the best of hands. I have recommended the Wagging Tail to several people, and they have had many positive experiences as well. I love my dog so much and would never put him in a place where I didnt feel he would be happy! Send your dog to the Wagging Tail! Trust me, you wont be disappointed.

We love The Wagging Tail. We’ve been clients for well over a decade and cannot imagine what we’d do without them.
Our dog Sally, who often suffers from separation anxiety, loves going there each day. Everyone at The Wagging Tail treats her as they would their own dog. They give her lots of attention, ensure she’s well cared for and they just plain love her. She feels like it’s just another of her homes and the staff is part of her family. We recommend them highly.

My 9-year old Westie, Kip, has been going to the Wagging Tail daycare 3 times a week since he was 9 months old. Over the years similar services have opened up closer to me. But I continue to send Kip to the Wagging Tail.
First, my dog loves it and many of his buddies have been going for years also.
Second, I can't say enough about the employees and owners. The majority of employees have been at the Wagging Tail long term, which says a lot. They know their canine clients well and are serious about their care. They offer therapy for older and injured dogs. A measure of their commitment to animals is boarding dogs from time to time that need adopting. All in all, I can't say enough about their professionalism, knowledge of dogs and true caring spirit they have.

I am writing this testimonial in appreciation for the people that have cared for my many dogs within the last15 years. (at least maybe 20?) I cannot speak highly enough in regard to the staff at the wagging tail as well as the owner, Keith Durst. They have saved one of my dogs lives by carrying them thru a traffic jam to the vet, and he is not a small dog.
I have left them with the tail for sometimes 4 weeks at a time when travelling and always found them healthy and happy upon my return.
My husband a I rescue hound dogs and give them the best we can in terms of love and care. We know that they receive that same love and care at the Tail.
Water for dogs which is owned by Jeannie Durst, brought my lab back from lyme disease. He had lost the use of his back legs and thru weekly swimming he is still going strong at 14.
To find honest good people to care for those you love is a gift!
